Regulation and Pricing Lead
Job Description
The role holder will have responsibility for the development and management of the aeronautical and miscellaneous pricing strategy, contributing to all broader economic regulatory affairs including IAA Regulatory Determination and leading project management functions as required within the broader planning and regulation department.
Responsibilities
- Manage the IAA economic Regulatory Determination workstream. This will involve contributing to all aspects of the Dublin Airport Price Control, providing robust, objective and relevant submissions to the IAA.
- Develop strategies for pricing, consultation and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead consultation processes for aeronautical, miscellaneous and environmental charging. Ensuring meaningful engagement with airline customers, resulting in optimal pricing structures being published and appropriately implemented.
- Develop and manage pricing incentives to optimise the efficient use of infrastructure.
- Conduct traffic analysis and industry trend reviews. Inputting to service quality and passenger experience strategy and engagement.
- The role may require you to project manage reviews of airport infrastructure, operational requirements, appropriate standards and regulations.
- The role will require that you work with the broader team to prepare robust business case (need) for recommended developments / projects.
Qualifications
Experience
• You have a Qualification in Business, Economics, Project Management or Aviation.
• You have at least 3 years experience as an analyst or project manager.
• You are highly numerate and you are great with detail, as well as being highly accurate.
• You are highly motivated, dynamic and you are committed to our values.
• You have strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with a positive disposition and resilient under pressure.
• Seeks ownership, responsibility and is proactive in approach.
• Strong attention to detail combined with a high degree of accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
• Can use own initiative and work independently and efficiently.
• Ability to embrace change and effectively adapt to change.
