Key Purpose of the Post:
To support the Head of Service in the development and implementation of strategic priorities across all areas of the service, ensuring these priorities are effectively translated into operational delivery within each function. This includes:

- Supporting the operational management and coordination of the functional areas which presently includes Food, Consumer Protection, Health and Safety, Licensing, Water, Animal Welfare and Dog Control, Home and Energy Safety, Enforcement, Planning, Building Control.
- Implementing and maintaining appropriate measures to ensure effective performance management, continuous improvement, and service transformation.
- Assisting in leading and delivering transformational change of the service and wider organisation integration
