We are currently recruiting for a Relief Food Service Assistant to join our team based at the Mount Charles Group. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.

We are currently recruiting for a Relief Food Service Assistant to join our team based at the Mount Charles Group. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.
Working Pattern:
- 37.5 hours per week guaranteed
- 5 out of 7 Days per Week - Dependant on Business Needs
- Various Shift Patterns - Ordinarily between 7am and 6.30pm

- To assist as directed with all aspects of preparation and presentation
- To provide an efficient and friendly service to customers in all areas
- To ensure that food is presented and served in a clean, hygienic environment
- To assist at service times by serving the customer at the counter
- To complete all necessary sales controls and documentation
- To communicate well with customers and demonstrate a helpful attitude
- To ensure tables and accompaniments are kept as clean as is reasonably practicable
- To load service counters as and when directed and to ensure sufficient supplies
- Fill and clean vending machines
- Check deliveries and temperatures on delivery, also record food temperatures
- Operate till
- To fulfill any reasonable request
- To attend/receive any job-related training as required
- To assist at any special functions
- To report any customer complaints or compliments.
- To report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage, unfit food, or other irregularities
- To attend meetings and training courses as may be necessary
- To provide cover in other areas during periods of holidays and sickness
- Good communications skills
- Previous food handling experience
- Ability to adhere to all health & safety practices
- Strong customer service skills
- High level performer
- High levels of personal hygiene and appearance
- Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
