Research and Innovation Office Administrative Assistant (Grade IV)

Purpose of the Role:

The Research & Innovation Office (RIO) Administrative Assistant is a key role for the Research and Innovation function at CHI. The post holder will provide essential support for Research & Innovation activities across CHI sites and play a central role in ensuring its smooth operation.

The post holder will need to coordinate multiple tasks and interact with a wide variety of

stakeholders. They will have strong organisational skills and the ability to work productively in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated team, work in a rewarding dynamic environment and be involved in the development of the Research & Innovation function towards the opening of the new children’s hospital.

Essential Criteria:

· Minimum qualification: successful completion of Leaving Certificate (or equivalent).

· At least 4 years of experience in an administrative role in a healthcare, pharmaceutical, or academic setting

· Strong IT skills, including expertise in the use of the Microsoft Office suite

· Previous relevant experience working in a research environment

· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
