DEC is a school- age service providing comprehensive health and education programmes for children and young people aged 5-18 years with complex needs. The successful candidate will work as part of a team delivering a service based on each Child’s/young person’s individual needs.

DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION CENTRE (D.E.C)
St. Vincents Centre Naval Road, Dublin.
FIXED-TERM PART-TIME CONTRACT (32 hours per week)
*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience

Essential:
· Hold a teaching degree recognised by the Department of Education and Skills.
· Be registered on the Teaching Council.
· Have previous experience of working with children with complex needs is desirable.
· Be a highly motivated individual with the ability to work on their own initiative.
· Have the ability to work effectively with families and the wider MDT.
· Be innovate, enthusiastic, and creative.
· Proficiency in the English language.
Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
