Purpose of the Role

To perform pulmonary function studies under supervision, aid sleep studies set up and support the Respiratory teams and other teams in a professional manner, using a variety of skills, techniques and equipment.

To assist the Respiratory Team in delivering a high quality service.

The job description must be regarded as an outline of the major areas of accountability, which will be reviewed and amended on an on-going basis.

Essential Criteria:

  • At least completed 3rd year on the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technology University Dublin or Atlantic Technical University.

And

  • Previous experience working in a Respiratory Laboratory.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Self-motivated, highly organised.
  • Knowledge of the Irish Healthcare system
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
