�� Are you ready to take the next step in your Nursing career? Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is now inviting applications for Respiratory Physiologist Basic Grade.
The purpose of this role is to perform pulmonary function testing and sleep studies in support of the Respiratory teams, delivering accurate, high‑quality diagnostic data in a professional, patient‑centred manner. The post holder will utilise a broad range of skills, techniques, and specialist equipment to ensure tests are conducted safely, efficiently, and to the highest clinical standards.
The role requires an active commitment to embracing and supporting technological advancements, including participation in the implementation and operation of new systems and procedures. Given the pace of change in healthcare delivery, adaptability is essential. The post holder is expected to maintain and develop the professional knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to meet evolving service demands.
This description outlines the principal areas of responsibility and will be subject to ongoing review and amendment to reflect service needs and organisational change.

Essential Requirements:
✨ Possess a BSc in Clinical Measurement
Or
✨ · Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurements Physiology (IICMP) – confirmation must be submitted with application.
Or if Qualified Prior To 2005:
✨Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology
Or
✨Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Physiology (IICMP) – confirmation must be submitted with application
