Job Description:
As an Assistant Manager, your pivotal role involves inspiring and guiding your team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations. You'll be at the forefront of understanding customer needs, meticulously shaping the in-store experience. Collaborating closely with the store Manager, you will lead the Sheneil team, fostering a vibrant, high-performing, and enjoyable work environment that fuels the drive towards sales excellence
The Role
· Lead with a compassionate and positive approach, igniting your team's potential. Offer continuous feedback and provide learning opportunities to fuel their ongoing development and success
· To consistently achieve utmost customer satisfaction, your role as a leader is crucial in instilling the Sheneil Shoes service guidelines within your team. Inspire them to consistently go above and beyond, embodying our commitment to delivering extraordinary service and ensuring our customers feel truly valued
· As a crucial team member, your influential presence on the shop floor is paramount. Actively educate and inspire the store team, contributing to the creation of a vibrant, informed, and cohesive retail atmosphere
· Ensure stock replenishment while upholding elevated standards in merchandise and maintaining visually appealing product presentations in the store.
· Collaborate in-store marketing and promotional initiatives aligned with annual marketing and local plans. Strive to meet sales targets set for these engaging activities.
· Execute routine daily and weekly administrative tasks, including cash management, team scheduling, monitoring sales figures, and compiling customer feedback
· Motivate your team to reach and surpass sales targets by implementing strategic decisions grounded in sales data
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 year’s retail management experience
· Proven experience in driving sales and profitability in store
· Excellent communication skills, in order to establish and coach high performing team.
· Ability to be adaptable and flexible to changing business needs
· A positive can-do attitude, with contagious enthusiasm
· A solid understanding of inventory management, visual merchandising, and store operations
· Proficiency in MS Office
· Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and after hours when needed
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
