Retail Convenience Store - Deputy Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Manager to join our retail team in Letterkenny. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store
- Target-driven approach to KPIs
- Manage, motivate and develop the store team
- Maintain excellent shop floor presentation and hygiene
- Ensure adequate stock levels are always maintained
- Product merchandising
- Consistently deliver excellent customer service
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and ensure the store meets its financial targets
Requirements
- Leaving certificate or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years management or supervisory experience in a retail environment
- Full driving licence
- A passion for working in a fast-paced and varied environment, hitting targets and meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work varying shift patterns
- Preferably, previous experience working as a Deputy/Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor
