Retail Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day Retail operations of the store to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently whilst optimizing profits
• Ensure the delivery of customer service is of a high standard at all times to assure customer satisfaction
• Ensure customer inquiries are handled in a courteous, timely, and accurate manner
• Build and maintain customer rapport and loyalty
• Ensure employees are well-informed on current sales and promotions
• Address customer complaints about goods and services in a professional and timely manner and escalate to Chief Training & Support Officer as, and when, required
• Ensure front of pharmacy staff receive training in safe work practices and enforce these as necessary
• Ensure front of pharmacy staff receive training in the store security procedures, comply with them, and enforce these as and if necessary
• Maintain the store’s work systems and processes to ensure compliance
• At all times, keep customer and employee information private and strictly confidential
• Support and/or manage any store emergencies including compliance with reporting requirements
• Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among employees and promote a positive working environment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and the business’ safety policies, directives, practices, and procedures
• Support, role model, and comply with all business and store policies and procedures
• Follow all reasonable instructions provided by the Chief Training & Support Officer
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Chief Training & Support Officer
