  • Caring for cheese and other products to ensure they are stored, handled and presented correctly.
  • Maintaining clear, accurate and attractive product displays and signage.
  • Engaging with customers, offering tastings and helping them discover new cheeses and artisan foods.

  • Working proactively to minimise waste and maintain product quality.
  • Identifying and reporting stock shortages, product issues or customer feedback to the Team Leader or Retail Manager.
  • Supporting seasonal displays, hampers and other retail activities as required.

As you'll often be working on your own, you'll need to be comfortable planning your work, prioritising tasks and using your own initiative to resolve day-to-day issues.

Who we're looking for

  • Self-motivated and confident working independently, without needing constant supervision.
  • Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.

  • Friendly, approachable and comfortable talking to customers.
  • Organised and practical, with a good eye for detail and presentation.
  • Happy to take responsibility for stock, merchandising, deliveries and food care.
  • Able to manage their time effectively and prioritise tasks during their shifts.
  • Conscientious about cleanliness, food safety, stock rotation and minimising waste.
