Retail Regulatory Manager

Role Purpose

The Retail Regulatory Manager is responsible for driving Vodafone Ireland retail regulatory policy for implementing Vodafone Ireland compliance programmes internally and engaging with external stakeholders on retail regulatory matters.

Key Accountabilities

Take charge of and drive compliance with existing and new regulations for telecoms services in particular the European Electronic Communications Code. 
Lead Vodafone’s engagement and implementation consumer regulatory matters with internal and external stakeholders.
Deliver Customer focussed regulatory support to Vodafone Ireland ensuring compliance and quality of service standards are maintained. 
Manage Vodafone internal compliance with consumer regulatory requirements. 
Manage pipeline of new regulatory obligations from initial proposition through consultation, decision and organisation implementation. 
Advise and co-ordinate the development of company positions on regulatory matters ensuring alignment with Vodafone Ireland and Vodafone Group positions. 
Act as main point of contact for retail division of ComReg for all information requests, policy matters, consultation and compliance matters. 
Manage all Vodafone engagement with ComReg, government departments, TII, Competition and Consumer Protection and industry on consumer related matters. 

We Are Looking For You, If You Have

2-3 years in the telecoms sector in a policy, compliance, regulatory or similar role 
Project management experience
Educated at least to degree level or equivalent, desirably holding qualification in engineering, law or economics. 
Broad based professional experience; knowledge/experience of management – the ability to function as a business partner at a senior level. 
In-depth ability to manage cross functional company engagement 
Ability to quickly digest a complex broad range of topics
Evidence of engagement within industry, Regulators, broader stake holders, Consumer Groups etc.
Excellent communications and presentation skills 
Ability to understand issues at both operational and strategic levels and to influence stakeholders to action
