The Role:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of a busy Agri-Retail store;
- Develop retail sales growth for animal health products, animal feeds, agro-chemicals, fertiliser, and agricultural requisites;
- Manage and develop customer relationships;
- Lead, manage and motivate a small team of dedicated sales and store personnel;
- Deliver excellent store standards through visual merchandising.
The Person:
- Have supervisory/management experience in a retail-sales environment;
- Possess a knowledge and awareness of the NI agricultural Industry and agricultural products;
- Experience of managing customer relationships;
- Ability to lead and motivate a team;
- Excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels;
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload;
- Enthusiastic, hard working with a hands-on approach to all aspects of the business;
- Must have good impact and presence and a ‘can do’ attitude;
- Have a full current driving licence valid in the UK;
- Ideally have a third level qualification in an agriculture or business-related discipline;
- Ideally have strong IT skills and knowledge of computerised stock control systems;
- A RAMA qualification for animal health sales and a forklift licence would be an advantage.
