This full-time role will be a key support for risk management within the Digital Enablement function in Group Technology, ensuring a proactive and consistent response to regulatory requirements, questionnaires and inspections with a focus on developing an enhanced risk and control environment through sustainable controls operation, documentation and reporting. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in digital risk while working closely with teams across Group Technology.

Responsibilities:

You will work closely with others across the business unit and, as part of a team, actively support risk management within Digital Enablement.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Drive a consistent approach to Risk Management engendering a culture of willingness and continual improvement.
  • You will co-ordinate Digital Enablement responses to regulatory requirements, questionnaires and inspections.
  • Proactively seek to minimize audit findings by implementing effective and permanent solutions while considering the wider implications of any findings.
  • You will track internal and external audit actions and RMPs (Risk Mitigation Programmes) to ensure successful remediation in line with commitments.
  • As part of a team, you will ensure all Digital Enablement risk activities, control environments, control gaps and remedial action plans are fully and proactively documented to a high and consistent standard.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience within a Risk or other relevant function/department
  • Strong experience in risk management and control
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across various departments.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet established, time sensitive deadlines.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate, written and verbal, complex information to audiences across functions with differing levels of knowledge and experience.
  • Is adaptable and can problem solve, with strong teamwork, collaboration, trust and respect ethos.
  • Ability to work on own initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Outlook, Word.


This is a permanent role based in Cork/Dublin (Hybrid option available within the Republic of Ireland only).
