McMahons Builders Providers have been providing quality building supplies and DIY materials to the trade and public for 200 years. The group consists of a network of 12 stores, as well as a Truss Manufacturing plant and 3 Hardwood & Sheet Material branches.  McMahons offer a one stop shop offering, with a wide range of products catering for the Builder, DIY enthusiast and Home Owner. McMahon’s extensive product range includes building materials, plumbing & heating, timber & sheeting, insulation, plant & tool hire, painting & decorating, doors & floors, bathrooms, garden and outdoor and much more.

The Role

McMahons are now seeking applications for the position of a Roof Truss Manufacturer for their Roof Truss Manufacturing plant located in Fermoy Co. Cork.

The Responsibilities

• Prepare the raw materials in advance of each truss production.
• Assist in the physical assembly of roof trusses.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area and jigs.
• Assist in the wrapping and marking of each complete order.
• Proactively set up for next order once current order is complete.
• Identify and report any quality or safety issues to the Production Supervisor.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Following company policies and procedures from an operational and health and safety perspective.

The Candidate:

• Previous experience in a truss manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of work.
