Room Leader - Clearly Kids

Room Leader- Full-time Permanent- Bangor

Our award-winning nursery, Clearly Kids Bangor, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join their team! This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week over 4 days between 7am and 6pm, according to a weekly rota. As a Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading the team to provide the best care possible to the children.

Job responsibilities:
- Lead the team within a designated room in the nursery, with a fair and consistent approach
- Help deliver the programmes outlined for the children
- Developing observations and planning along with individual educational and care plans
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Liaise with parents and external agencies
- Contribute to team meetings
- Any other duties as required by management

Essential criteria:
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or be working towards)
- Previous experience in a day nursery or childcare setting
- Previous experience leading a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to handle the physical demands of the job 
- Patient with a positive attitude
