Room Supervisor - Puddleducks Day Nursery
Location: Puddleducks, Grosvenor House, 12 Glengall Street, Belfast, BT12 5AD
Salary: £30,534.4 per annum, £14.68 per hour (Scale point 23)
Contract: Fixed Term starting on 3 Aug 2026 until 3 May 2027
Working hours: 40 hours per week

Located in the heart of the city, with bespoke, age-appropriate playrooms as well as a unique 19 x 12 metre indoor play area. At Puddleducks we really appreciate the benefits of outdoor play; our carefully designed multi-surface outdoor play area will allow children to enjoy the fresh air and enrich their learning opportunities in a safe, secure, and exciting way.

Your new role 
You will be responsible for arranging and ensuring the implementation of a stimulating and varied program of age-appropriate activities for the children in your room in line with the Puddleducks approach and the supervision of staff.

​​​​​​​What we need from you
​​​​​​​Essential
  • Working towards or currently possess QCF Level 3 in Child Care, Learning and Development or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years Early Years practice with children aged 0-5 years.
  • Experience of working in a Day Nursery
  • Flexibility regarding working hours and overall responsibilities within the Nursery.
Desirable
  • ​​​​​​​CCLD Level 5 Leadership and Management or equivalent, or willing to complete.
  • Paediatric First Aid.
  • Childcare supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, e.g. DHSSPS Childminding & Day Care for Children Under Age 12 Minimum Standards.
