Sales and Administration Support

Premier Machine Tools is a leading supplier of CNC Machine Tools and carbide cutting tools to the manufacturing and metal cutting sector in Ireland. They are part of Seco Tools and offer tailored services to maximise reliability and up-time by partnering with World-Leading Manufacturers.

In this role, you will be based in the Kildare area supporting the sales and service teams ensuring efficient order processing, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative assistance.

Your profile

You are an experienced administrator in customer services capable of placing orders, responding to queries and requests for quotations. You should be a good organiser who works well as part of a small team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the desire to give our customers a great customer experience is a must.

This role is office based and the ideal candidate will live within the Kildare area. 

Your role

  • General office administration including, but not limited to; filing, post, organising meetings, agendas, training events etc.
  • Arranging all travel requirements for internal staff.
  • Switchboard, redirecting any calls, dealing with any queries relevant to the customer desk.
  • Sales Order Processing and dealing with customers over phone and email. Receiving enquiries and providing quotations.
  • Purchase Order Processing and dealing with suppliers over phone and email.
  • Customer restocks and despatching of products.
  • Liaising with suppliers and following up with customers, keeping them informed of delivery status of orders.
  • Dealing with customers queries, incorrect parts, pricing, missing items etc. Arranging returns to suppliers of surplus spare parts.
  • Building on and improving on existing office administration systems to ensure good service to our customers and to minimise any potential losses which could otherwise occur through poor organisation.
  • Logging Service customer calls and planning and scheduling service jobs.
  • Liaising with service department to ensure efficient support to our customers.
  • Ensuring appropriate charge out of all service activities.
