Sales Assistant

• Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring each customer receives a warm welcome and personalised assistance
• Drive sales by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring products are attractively displayed
• Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organising new stock in both the warehouse and the sales area
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the till
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of store presentation
• Adapt to various tasks and responsibilities as required in a fast-paced retail environment
• Potentially take ownership of a specific area within the store, demonstrating initiative and leadership

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Strong sales ability and a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers
• Proactive approach to work with the ability to take initiative
• Team player with great interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and peak trading periods
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing transactions
• Physical fitness to handle stock and stand for extended periods
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
• Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential – we value enthusiasm and the right attitude
