We are now looking for a motivated and organised Sales & Operations Coordinator to join our team, someone who enjoys balancing customer service, sales growth, and smooth operational delivery in a hands-on, dynamic role.

THE ROLE

As Sales & Operations Coordinator, you will be at the heart of both our customer experience and behind-the-scenes operations. This is a varied and rewarding role that involves: Growing and managing bookings. Delivering outstanding customer service. Ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and building meaningful connections with both customers and partners, all while working in one of Ireland’s most beautiful locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales & Customer Service
  • Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
  • Convert enquiries into bookings and look for opportunities to grow sales.
  • Manage reservations, process payments, and prepare all necessary guest documentation.
  • Confidently use our booking software (Bilberry) and company app — training provided if needed.

Operations & Administration

  • Assist with guest meet & greets, luggage transfers, and support the bike mechanic when required.
  • Manage the tours office in the absence of the Manager.
  • Take care of key admin tasks: invoicing, booking ferries, preparing guide packs, and conducting monthly accommodation checks.

Key Skills and Experience

We are looking for a proactive problem solver who is well-organised, customer-focused, and excited by the idea of contributing to a growing tourism business.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A systems-focused mindset and ability to streamline processes. S
  • trong communication skills — fluent English required; French or German is a significant plus.
  • A passion for Connemara and enthusiasm for promoting outdoor tourism.
  • Good IT skills, comfortable with Microsoft Office, email, and learning booking systems quickly.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy office or customer service environment.
  • Full, clean driving licence (essential) and eligible to drive company vehicles (insurance requires drivers to be 25+).
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in the travel industry.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently when needed.

Job Type: Full-time (some flexibility possible for the right candidate)

Schedule: Monday to Friday for most of the year, with some weekend and bank holiday work required during our busy season (May – September)

Location: In person at our base in Leenane Co. Galway.
