Roadstone Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our North West team. The successful candidate will be based out of our Castlebar location. This key role will be responsible for the marketing and sales of our complete range of products.

About this roleKey Areas of Responsibility:Sales & Commercial Execution

· Accurately forecasts revenue pipelines

· Constantly innovate ways to balance sales opportunities, customer management, and new customer on-boarding

· Draws upon organisational resources to build customer-focused relationships

· Conducts cost/benefit analysis before pursuing potential business

Customer Relationships

· Skilled in developing customer collaboration and commitment at all stages of the value chain, negotiating for win-win outcomes

· Strengthens customer relationships through building service ethic within the sales teams; anticipates and provides solutions to customer needs; strives for customer satisfaction

· Skilled in establishing and maintaining relationships with key product Specifiers

· Will be required to attend seminars, conferences, customer related events, tradeshows etc., outside of normal working hours, at weekends and in various locations.

Strengthen the Company

· Listen to the needs of the market and share the learning internally with Operational, Technical teams and Commercial Dept.

· Be proactive about solving problems cross departmentally

· Be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge

· Be proactive to learn and re-educate on all Architectural and Value Added Product ranges.

The following knowledge, skills and competencies are required for this role:

· Possesses knowledge about where Roadstone products are positioned in the marketplace relative to competitors

· Full clean Irish driving license is required.

· Strong sales process discipline and architectural product knowledge

· Presentation skills and prior sales experience would be an advantage

· Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills

· Results focused-pursue stretch goals and take advantage of opportunities

· Knowledge of relevant IT packages including Oracle, Command Alkon and Microsoft Office products

The successful candidate must be a highly motivated, self-directed individual with a desire for personal, company and Group achievement.

What you will need

Required criteria

  • Must be highly motivated and results-driven.
  • Must have experience as a Sales Representative.
  • Must be able to market and sell a complete range of products.
  • Must be able to work in the Mayo/North West region, based out of Castlebar.
  • Must hold a valid driving license.

Desired criteria

  • Experience in the construction materials industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Knowledge of the North West region market.
