Seasonal Day Porter – Gleneagle Hotel (Fixed-Term: June to September)

Location: Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney, Kerry

Contract: Fixed-Term, 3–5 Days/Week (June to September)

Ideal for students or those seeking summer employment!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a warm, polite, and efficient porter service to all guests and visitors.
• Greet guests at the front of the hotel and assist with luggage and directions.
• Offer helpful information on hotel services, local attractions, and events.
• Set up and break down meeting rooms as needed.
• Support other departments when required.
• Attend to guests in the lobby and assist with general queries.
• Demonstrate how in-room amenities work when showing guests to their rooms.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in customer service, tourism, or hospitality
• A friendly, enthusiastic, and professional attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for providing exceptional guest care.
