A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Grade VII, from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled. Please note, the lifespan of this panel is dependent on the new restructuring within the HSE

Purpose of the post

To provide management support within this function and to supervise staff within own remit. This position occupies a pivotal role within the structure of Older Person Services. It encompasses both managerial and administrative responsibilities.

You will be required to support the Older Persons Services Manager with regard to: -

· Line management of administrative staff within Home Support Department (particularly Payroll and Time Returning Officers)

· Ensuring adherence to National Financial Regulations

· Supporting Home Support Resource Managers (HSRMs) on HR/Garda Vetting issues

· Working closely with Home Support Resource Managers on administrative Home Support issues

· Deputising for the Grade VIII
