Position Summary

Senior Administrator role will involve:

  • Perform defined secretarial and administrative duties to support the plant team, to maintain records and to manage office administration.
  • Project a positive image of the organisation.
  • create a positive working environment and will lead continuous improvement initiatives with Steris Westport Site
Duties
  • Assist visitors and telephone callers by making them welcome and taking care of their needs in a timely, efficient and friendly manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date and efficient filing system of all process records and other administration documents.
  • Provide secretarial support including maintaining archives, stationary management, scheduling meetings, etc.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders, manage receipts and provide administration for all associated accounting.
  • Reinforce impression of a quality GMP Healthcare company by maintaining reception and public areas clean and tidy.
  • Undertake other duties, tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management from time to time
  • To ensure compliance with safety procedures at all times.
  • Interacts with all STERIS employees in a constructive manner.

  • The role will involve with Document control
  • Perform defined secretarial and administrative duties to support the plant team, to maintain records and to manage office administration.
  • Project a positive image of the organisation.
  • Responsible for upkeep of office equipment i.e. buying, ordering equipment and organising repair if required

This senior role would also involve the individual to be responsible for Continuous improvement/ Lean/OTOG activity with Steris Westport

  • Lead operational continuous improvement teams. Deploying area improvement plans and role out of IDEA’s.
  • Oversee continuous improvement initiatives/activities within the department and participate in Gemba walks.
  • Own site 5s audit schedule, carrying out random area inspections.
  • Plan, review and develop operational standard work.
  • Participate in KAIZEN events.
  • To undertake any reasonable management request.
  • Initial OTOG activities with Westport site.
Education Degree

Vocational/Technical

Required Experience
  • Outgoing, pleasant personality, Good communication skills.
  • Reception and telephone-answering techniques.
  • Initiative, ability to take responsibility and to work without direct supervision or instruction.
  • Achieve error free output to customers.
  • Provide expedient and appropriate response to customer inquiries.
  • Maintain archive files of all quality records.
  • Understand the documentation system and ensure that it is operated correctly.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite.
