The successful candidates will work as part of the Quality team and will be required to perform chemical testing of raw materials and APIs.
Main Activities/Tasks
- The successful candidate will be required to organise, supervise and assist others in the analysis of raw materials using relevant quality specification, ensuring their fitness for use by production.
- The successful candidate will also be required to plan and schedule analysis for raw material and API release, stability and the vendor accreditation program.
- Applicants must be educated to degree level in a Chemistry related discipline.
- Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years GMP laboratory experience.
- Knowledge of GMP
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in technical investigation and root cause analysis.
- Experience in executing and leading deviation investigations and CAPAs.
- Experience in carrying out analysis especially HPLC and GC analysis and wet chemistry.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines in a dynamic environment
- A proven track record in Health & Safety
- Flexibility to work shift patterns
Location: Newry
Additional Information:
- This role will be based in a site that produces and handles penicillin, and as such, this role would not be suitable for those that have a penicillin allergy.
