Senior Anatomical Pathology Technician
Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this post is to provide anatomical technical services with the Pathologists Clinical service in the provision of the Post Mortem service of CHI. The service is provided in both CHI- Crumlin and CHI-Temple St.
Essential Criteria:
· Professional Qualification- Level 4 Diploma in Healthcare Science (Anatomical Pathology Technician) awarded by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) or an equivalent qualification.
· Have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience of working as a Senior Anatomical Pathology Technician in a Mortuary environment.
Desirable Criteria:
· Experience of paediatric post mortem examination
Note: In the absence of fully qualified applicants, CHI may consider appointing individuals with less experience and support them in their training and progression toward full qualification. Job title and remuneration will be commensurate with level of experience
