PwC Ireland is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Business Analyst Manager to join our dynamic Business Analysis Team in Tech Central within the Business Enablement Solutions (BES) line of service. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the successful implementation of large-scale systems and emerging technologies, including Generative AI (GenAI) solutions to support transformation change projects and continuous improvement across all lines of service including BES, Tax, Assurance and Consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business needs and technology solutions.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, and internal teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for complex projects involving GenAI and other innovative technologies.
Run process analysis workshops with internal stakeholders to map current state processes, identify pain points, and design future state improvements leveraging innovative technologies to optimise business workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
Work closely with development teams and external vendors to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications and delivered on time and within scope.
Drive implementation of large-scale systems, coordinating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions that meet regulatory and business objectives.
Mentor and develop junior business analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies related to business analysis and solution delivery.
Support business development activities through thought leadership on emerging technologies such as GenAI and their practical applications in client engagements.
Education/Professional Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a third level qualification in an IT related discipline or a general primary degree followed by a postgraduate IT qualification. A focus on AI, machine learning or natural language processing would be advantageous.
Candidates should hold a business analysis certification in one or more of the following:
CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis)
PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)
Agile Business Analyst Certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, ICAgile Certified Professional)
Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean certification
Project management certifications will be advantageous such as PRINCE2 Foundation / Practitioner and/or PMI-PMP.
Experience and Skills Required:
6-7 years of progressive business analysis experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
Proven track record in running process analysis workshops, process mapping, business process analysis, and leading process improvement initiatives leveraging technology.
Proven experience in AI, automation, or technology enablement within tax, finance, or related professional services.
Experience in implementing large-scale technology solutions, ideally within professional services environments.
Demonstrated experience with Generative AI (GenAI) solutions implementation is highly advantageous.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to working with developers and vendors.
Understanding of Tax, Assurance, and/or Consulting business processes and regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
Experience working within professional services firms advantageous.
Strong leadership, facilitation and organisational skills.
Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability to engage and work with senior leadership.
Demonstrated ability to inspire confidence.
Strong analytical skills, proactive issue resolution, and a focus on delivering measurable business impact.
