- Tenure - Permanent post on a Full-Time basis however Part Time will also be considered
- Hours of Work – 35 hours– The Senior Psychologist position in Peamount Healthcare offers the candidate the opportunity to deliver the best psychological theory and practice applied to rehabilitation inpatient services.

- Location of Post - Peamount Healthcare, Newcastle, Co. Dublin
- Working Model - Fully Onsite
- Remuneration - *€99,488 (point 1) to €116,942 (point 8)
- Annual Leave - As per Health Service Executive (HSE)
- Closing Date – Wednesday 17th June 2026
- Proposed Interview Date - To be confirmed. At least 1 weeks’ notice will be provided. Shortlisted candidates are expected to make themselves available.
- Take Up Appointment - As soon as possible. Successful applicant(s) must be available to take up the role within a reasonable timeframe

PURPOSE OF THE POST
The Senior Psychologist position in Peamount Healthcare offers the candidate the opportunity to deliver the best psychological theory and practice applied to rehabilitation inpatient services.
POINT ON SALARY SCALE
- New appointees coming from the private sector will be placed on the minimum point of the scale
(*exceptions may apply for the below grades, provided proof of recognised service is submitted by VOS)
- *Clinical and Therapy Grades and Staff Nurses*: Incremental credit may be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland and abroad (Department of Health Circular 2/2011) in the Civil Service, local authorities, public service, health service and other public service bodies and statutory agencies
