(HX26-083) Senior Dietitian (Specified Purpose contract)

  • 1.0 WTE/0.5WTE (35 hours/17.5 hours per week)
  • Specified purpose duration contract
  • H.S.E. funded
  • Based in Harold’s Cross

Essential Requirements

Qualifications:

  • BSc Human Nutrition & Dietetics

or

  • Hold a comparable qualification recognised by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU
  • Maintain live annual registration on the Dietitians Register maintained by the Dietitian’s Registration Board at CORU.
  • Full driving license

Experience:

  • At least three years of relevant clinical experience
  • Clinical experience in the management of Enteral Nutrition
  • Evidence of continuing professional development

Desirable Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate education in a Dietetic or Healthcare related topic

Experience:

  • Clinical experience in the management of Parenteral Nutrition
  • Relevant previous dietetic experience in any of the following areas:
    • Palliative Care
    • Care of the Older Person
    • Neurology
    • Oncology/ Haematology
    • Or services for people with life limiting conditions
  • Previous research/clinical audit related to palliative care or care of the older person.
