Senior Environmental Health Officer

Main Purpose of Job:

The postholder will be responsible to the Regulatory Services Manager and report to the Principal Environmental Health Officer (Environmental Protection and Neighbourhoods) for the management, planning and delivery of the Environmental Protection and Neighbourhoods functions across the district to ensure an efficient and effective service, which meets service aims and objectives. The postholder will represent the Council on regional specialist groups to ensure sharing of best practice and consistency of approach to service delivery and enforcement. To report to the PEHO (Environmental Protection and Neighbourhoods), supporting and monitoring staff in all Environmental Protection and Neighbourhoods activities to ensure operational performance and continuous improvement in service delivery is achieved.
