Glanbia is currently seeking to recruit a FP&A Senior Analyst. This is a permanent opportunity and will report to the FP&A Manager. 

The base location of the role will be Waterside, Citywest with a blended working arrangement available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate the GN budget and forecast P&Ls, Balance Sheet and Cashflow with comparators and explanations of volume, product/customer mix and rate variances to prior year and budget and explaining key drivers / movements / assumptions
  • Coordinate the formulation of the Group Selling and General Admin Budget and bi annual forecast. Provide monthly commentary and analysis for distribution to the executive budget owners.
  • Maintain and run monthly the assessment of costs to the global Products and the production and distribution of monthly Product P&L’s
  • Monthly FX monitoring and reporting
  • Manage and explain the monthly SGA accruals.
  • Develop and improve reporting and forecasting systems and tools on an on-going basis including regional templates for consolidation of forecast and budget process.
  • Assist in the ongoing development of the GN FP&A function within the wider finance function and its support and training of key stakeholders.
  • Liaise with the regional finance teams (US, EMEA and ASPAC) and Group finance colleagues to ensure that all global divisional and Group requirements are met.
  • Assist the FP&A Manager as required and participate in various projects where relevant including support to the CFO, executive teams, investor’s relations and Group teams.
  • Financial modeling and analysis as required

The Skills you will bring to the team

  • Minimum 5+ years’ PQE experience in a similar role and multinational environment (FP&A experience a plus).
  • Strong influencing and communication skills.
  • Self-starter, who has the ability to work within a team and across geographical boundaries (able to manage workload across various time zones),
  • Advanced level MS Excel and PowerPoint and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and Business Objects.
  • Detailed financial modeling experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, good judgment making and logical decision maker.
  • Results driven, must be able to work under pressure across a global organisation engaging with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing, motivating and influencing in an environment of rapidly changing workload, tight deadlines in the context of high client expectations.
  • On-going requirement for financial analysis in a dynamic and growing business.
