Two Senior Occupational Therapist
Full time, Permanent – 35 hours per week
We currently have Two vacancies on our Specialisted Seating and Assistive Technology Team (ATSS), CRC, Clontarf
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Grade Occupational Therapist to work as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team providing assistive technology assessment and postural and mobility services to children and adults.
During 2024 the CRC has embarked on a programme of organistional transformation. Partnering with the Virginia Mason Institute world leaders in supporting healthcare organisations through continuous improvement and transformational change. The successful candidate will have the following essential requirements:
- Possess a recognised Occupational Therapist qualification and be registered or be eligible for registration as an Occupational Therapist by CORU.
- At least 3 years post qualification clinical experience with a minimum of two years proven experience working with children with disabilities
- Have experience working in the areas of Specialised Seating and Assistive technology
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, initiative, teamwork and time management skills
- Ability to participate in best practice initiatives and service development within the ATSS Department
- Full driver’s license and access to transport
Desirable requirements:
- Post qualification experience to include experience in the area of physical disability
- Post qualification training/experience in neuro-developmental practice
- Front line experience in an assistive technology and specialised seating setting
It must be clearly demonstrated in your CV and supporting statement how you meet the required skills, competencies and knowledge for the post. Department of Health Salary Scale apply, Senior Occupational Therapist (€63,912 - €75,254).
