We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Senior Grade Occupational Therapist in Motor Management to join our team in Dublin South East (CHO6). We have full-time opportunities within our teams in Sandymount, Leopardstown and Bray.
Contract Type: Permanent Post
Contract Hours: Full Time Post, 35 hours per week.
Salary Scale: €62,072 - €73,477 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments)
This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.
Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service.
Overview of the Post:
To work as a Senior Occupational Therapist within the Integrated Health Area Dublin South and Wicklow Motor Management team providing services to children 0 – 18 years and families within the region. The purpose of the Motor Management Specialist Service is to provide support to clinicians, children and families attending a CDNT.
The post holder will provide an Occupational Therapy service to include assessment diagnostics and intervention for children with a physical disability and support the development of clinical competencies in teams working with children.
The post holder will work alongside local, regional and tertiary Motor Management Clinicians as part of a Network of Practice in the area of Motor Management.

The successful candidate will have:
Essential Criteria:
Candidates for appointment must:
- Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
AND
- Have three years full time (or an aggregate of three years) post qualification clinical experience.
AND
- Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
AND
- Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
Annual registration
On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
AND
- Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.
AND
- Eligible to work in the State.
Desirable Criteria:
- Minimum 2-year post qualification experience of working with families and children 0-18 years of age with a range of physical disabilities/developmental delays.
- Experience and/or training in clinical supervision.
- Experience of multi/interdisciplinary team working.
