To assist in the delivery of Supporting People departmental functions in line with our vision and values as outlined below, and to participate in the review, development, implementation and reporting of Supporting People Strategy, Policy, Operations and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities
To plan, monitor and undertake a range of duties under the direction of more senior officers, ensuring compliance with Supporting People policy and procedures. Dependent upon team assigned duties may include:
Provide advice and guidance to Supporting People providers on a range of Supporting People issues. Co-Ordinate, allocate and monitor work to meet wider supporting people business objectives. Assist in the assessment of risk in relation to Supporting People funded services and/or strategic projects. Assist with monitoring and reporting on the strategic relevance of services funded through the Supporting People Programme. Arrange and attend meetings and visits as required with external stakeholders to progress Supporting People objectives and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures including the Supporting People Funding Agreement. Assist in monitoring the quality and performance of Supporting People funding services/projects. Provide information on the performance of Supporting People funded services/projects against key milestones, agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Performance Indicators (SPI’s) as appropriate. Provide information as required, on contract management/project activity etc. Contribute to the development of and assessment of new service development proposals, under the direction of more senior officers. Developing presentations, briefing papers, reports and communication materials for a range of audiences. Coordinating events and stakeholder engagement activities to support business objectives. Assessing enquiries and requests for information, working collaboratively with colleagues to develop appropriate responses. Assist with the preparation of papers and reports for decision making under the direction of more senior staff. Provide support in the organization, preparation and management of a range of meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Work in partnership with other external stakeholders including statutory agencies and the community/voluntary sector to ensure good quality and value for money housing related support services are provided. Contribute to and promote continuous improvement. Contribute to policy formulation including the drafting of operational procedure documents. Contribute to the successful management and delivery of supporting people projects. Contribute to the development of relevant business plans and project plans in line with priorities. Ensure procedures are implemented to enable monitoring of work and accurate reporting of progress. Extracting, collating and analysing information from IT systems to support reporting and inform decision making. Participate in regular team meetings/briefings. General Duties
To prepare appropriate business cases, tenders and quotations, in line with financial and procurement regulations, policies and procedures and corporate timescales. To provide a high level of internal and external customer service in the delivery of Supporting People projects and taking ownership of customer queries and complaints and following issues through to completion. To ensure continued and effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. To undertake the duties in such a way as to enhance and protect the reputation and public profile of the Housing Executive. To represent the Supporting People Manager as required and provide support and deputise for colleagues and carryout the duties of their roles in their absence as and when required by management to ensure resilience as far as practicable. To comply with and enforce all Housing Executive frameworks, policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to legal requirements such as equality, health and safety, information governance and procurement. To direct and signpost managers and officers to the appropriate source for issues outside the remit of this post. To undertake project work as directed by the Assistant Director (SP) using the principles of good project management and in line with Housing Executive practice. To participate as directed in Resourcing activity in line with Housing Executive Resourcing Policies and Procedures. To undertake any other duties, which may be assigned to meet organisational need, that is reasonably regarded as within the nature of the duties, responsibilities and grade of the post as defined. This role will develop and change in line with strategic corporate programmes and projects and post holders will be required to carry out other duties commensurate with the role.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Candidates must either: (i) Hold a degree or an equivalent level qualification (Level 6*), and can demonstrate a minimum of one year’s relevant experience.
OR
(ii) Hold a degree or an equivalent level qualification (Level 6*), and can demonstrate a minimum of one year’s relevant experience.
OR
(iii) Can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development of experiential learning and demonstrate at least 3 years’ relevant experience.

Applicants must demonstrate their relevant experience for the number of years required, in each of the following areas: a) Experience of working in an environment involving performance monitoring and reporting, applying principles of good governance to support the delivery of services.
b) Experience of working with a range of internal and external stakeholders demonstrating good negotiation and communication skills.
c) Experience of using data and complex information to compile reports in order to make recommendations.
d) Interpreting information and policies to make appropriate decisions.
