Senior Physio
Senior Physiotherapist (0.5 WTE Practice Education Tutor + 0.5 WTE Elective Orthopaedics) (Fulltime/Permanent)
Applicants should:
- Hold a recognised qualification in Physiotherapy & be registered with CORU.
- Have at least 3 years post qualification experience and a minimum of 12 months specifically in elective orthopaedic services.
- Have experience as a practice educator and/or clinical tutor for Physiotherapy students in an acute hospital setting.
- Previous experience in the management of complex patients in inpatient and outpatient settings is essential.
- Have experience in the facilitation of education, presentation of feedback and in the provision of clinical supervision.
- Relevant post graduate education/training is desirable.
- Have the ability to actively problem solve and formulate solutions to issues arising.
- Have proven organisational and case load management skills.
- Have the ability to work on own initiative, prioritise clinical and non-clinical tasks and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills & proven verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience of working as part of an inter-disciplinary team is essential.
