SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
(Aquatic Physiotherapy Department)
(Permanent, Part-time)
Applications are invited for the above post from suitably qualified persons.
The candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office, possess:
- B.Sc./master’s degree in Physiotherapy approved by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
- Membership of, or eligibility for membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) and CORU registered at the time of application.
- A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience with a minimum of 1 year in the area of Neurorehabilitation and 6 months in Aquatic Physiotherapy for adults/children with acquired brain injury and/or spinal cord injury and/or limb absence.
- Evidence of post graduate clinical education in the area of acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury or limb absence with some evidence of post graduate clinical education in Aquatic therapy e.g. Bath Hydrotherapy Course or equivalent, Halliwick Course, Pool Management Course.
- Proficient swimmer
