We are currently seeking highly-motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our team in Enable Ireland Adult Services, Midwest (Clare, Limerick, North Tipperary)
Contract Type: Full Time Permanent Contract
Contract Hours: 35 Hours per week
SalaryScale: €60,855 to €72,036 Pro rata per annum, Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments)
This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations
Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 Days pro rata per annum
Overview of the Post:
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a high standard Physiotherapy service to a complex adult caseload with varying needs within the Midwest which includes adults with complex intellectual and/or Physical needs. They will work as a senior member of the Adult Services team, developing programmes within the service which will best suit the needs of the individual Service Owners and their families. This will include responsibility for ongoing assessment and intervention, and providing support, training and advice on handling skills, mobility, positioning and postural management.

The successful candidate will have:
Essential Criteria:
(i) Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
AND
(ii) Have three years full time (or an aggregate of three years full time) post qualification clinical experience.
AND
(iii) Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
AND
(iv) Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
Annual registration
(v) On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU
AND
(vi) Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.
Desirable Criteria:
- 2 years experience with children or adults with a primary physical disability
- Experience of multidisciplinary team working
- Experience of supervising students/therapy assistants/support staff.
- Experience of upper limb/hand rehabilitation
- Complex postural management experience
