Senior Physiotherapist in Musculoskeletal with a special interest in Plastics

Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this post is to provide appropriate physiotherapeutic assessment and treatment in accordance with current best practice to infants and children referred to Physiotherapy from Craniofacial, Orthopaedics, Plastics and other specialties across CHI, as a member of the wider Musculoskeletal team.

Essential Criteria:

· Hold a Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU – candidates must state CORU registration number on application, or CORU application number and date of submission if still awaiting registration number in the case of section 91 applicants.

And

· All candidates must have three years full time (or equivalent) years post-qualification clinical experience

· Strong clinical background in the area of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy with clear evidence of working in the area of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy for a minimum of 1 year.

· Previous experience in the area of Hand Therapy.

· Demonstrate evidence of recent formal continuing professional development within Hand Therapy and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, in the form of post-graduate qualifications or relevant courses
