Senior Physiotherapist in Paediatric Obesity & Endocrinology

Purpose of the Role:

Provide appropriate physiotherapeutic assessment and treatment in accordance with current best practice to infants and children referred to Physiotherapy for management of childhood obesity. This intervention will be primarily outpatient-based including participation in the delivery of out-of-hour weight management group treatment programmes, but will also incorporate inpatient service provision as required.

Essential Criteria:

· Hold a Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU – candidates must state CORU registration number on application, or CORU application number and date of submission if still awaiting registration number in the case of section 91 applicants.

And

· All candidates must have three years full time (or equivalent) years post-qualification clinical experience

· Applicants must have a strong clinical background in paediatric physiotherapy
