The candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office, possess:

  • B.Sc./Master’s degree in Physiotherapy approved by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
  • Membership of, or eligibility for membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) and CORU registered at the time of application.
  • A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience with at least 1 year in the area of Prosthetic/Limb Absence rehabilitation.
  • Evidence of post graduate clinical education in the area of Prosthetics/Limb Absence rehabilitation is desirable. e.g. an advanced Strathclyde Prosthetics (3 day) course or its equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
