The Department of Physiotherapy provides physiotherapy services to referred inpatients within St. John’s Hospital. The service also provides general outpatient services to the hospital’s Local Injury Unit, Medical Assessment Unit and Outpatient Clinics.The Department of Physiotherapy in St. John’s Hospital provides clinical placements to students from the BSc and MSc physiotherapy programme as well as group placements for CORU applicants.

The primary academic partner with St.John’s Hospital is the University of Limerick.

The person appointed to this post will work as a Senior Physiotherapist taking a lead role in the delivery of a quality physiotherapy service.
