Reserve List
Whilst the Council are recruiting for permanent Planning positions, please note that reserve lists will be compiled for future permanent, temporary, full time and part time posts for Planning positions at Council Offices in both Downpatrick and Newry for 12 months.
Job Summary
To be responsible for the Planning team in ensuring the high standard of meeting individual and team targets and delivering a high and consistent standard of service delivery in respect of the Councils responsibilities and statutory functions in relation to Planning.
Duration of Appointment
Permanent.
Work Pattern
36 hours Monday - Friday.
All posts are eligible to participate in the Flexi Scheme.
Post holders must be prepared to work outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Public and extra Statutory Holidays for which the appropriate payment will be made or time in lieu granted if relevant.
Hours of work are kept under review and may change in order to meet operational requirements, providing requisite notice.
Location
Location is Downpatrick or Newry.
Postholders may be required to transfer to other locations in accordance with any requirements stated in the Job Description, any reviews of service delivery or other requirements as may arise from time to time. Any amendments made to work location will be implemented following appropriate consultation and provision of reasonable notice.
Salary
PO4, SCP 37-40, currently £46,731 - £49,764 per annum based on a 36 hour week (pro rata to hours worked).
