What is the Role?
As a Senior PMO Analyst at AIB UK, you will support the delivery of complex change initiatives by providing governance, reporting, and quality assurance across programmes and platforms. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring that projects adhere to organisational standards and deliver value. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple business areas.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure compliance with AIB’s governance framework and the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Support the development and maintenance of portfolio plans and roadmaps aligned to strategic and regulatory objectives.
- Produce and present high-quality status reports, dashboards, and financial updates for senior stakeholders, providing actionable insights.
- Facilitate effective communication between programme teams and leadership to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Drive change control processes and monitor benefits realisation to achieve intended outcomes.
- Identify, track and manage risks, issues, and dependencies through RAID logs, escalating where necessary.
- Embed PMO practices within Agile Tribes, ensuring governance and reporting complement agile ways of working.
- Mentor and support junior PMO team members, sharing best practice and encouraging continuous improvement.
What You Will Bring;
- 4+ years in PMO or Change-related roles, ideally within financial services or regulated environments.
- Experience designing and maintaining project governance frameworks, producing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with organisational standards.
- Strong understanding of project and programme lifecycles, Agile delivery, change control, and benefits realisation.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with integrated planning tools, governance artefacts, and portfolio management systems.
- Experience with Agile delivery models and working in Tribe/Squad structures.
- Proficiency with JIRA & Confluence.
- Knowledge of financial tracking and resource allocation across projects and programmes.
- Experience supporting and developing junior team members.
