As Senior Practitioner, you’ll guide and support staff, manage specific projects, and step in for the Accommodation Manager when needed. You’ll take the lead on complex and specialist cases, ensuring high-quality, person-centred service delivery across housing support, accommodation services, and community reintegration.
Essential Criteria
Experience:
- Option A: 3+ years working with socially excluded individuals
- OR Option B: A Level 3 qualification (e.g., QCF/NVQ) and 2+ years’ experience
- A proven ability to build strong, supportive relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Experience designing and delivering tailored, client-focused services that address strengths, needs, and risks
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to self-direct and prioritize effectively
- A good understanding of homelessness and related challenges
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Full driving licence and/or access to transport
- 1+ year experience supervising staff or volunteers in a support or care setting
