About the Role
As Senior Practitioner, you’ll provide clear guidance, supervision, and support to staff, leading on key projects and deputising for the manager when required. You will take ownership of complex and specialist cases to ensure high‑quality, efficient service delivery across housing support, accommodation, community transition, and prevention work, and manage a personal caseload effectively to support client needs and service outcomes.


Essential Criteria
  • Option A: 3+ years working with socially excluded individuals
  • ​​​​​​​Option B: A Level 3 qualification (e.g., QCF/NVQ) and 2+ years’ experience​​​​​​​
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​Plus
    • A proven ability to build strong, supportive relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
    • Experience designing and delivering tailored, client-focused services that address strengths, needs, and risks
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to self-direct and prioritize effectively
    • A good understanding of homelessness and related challenges
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Full current driving licence or, if a disability prevents driving, an alternative means of transport to enable the duties of the post to be carried out in full.
    Desirable Criteria
    • 1+ year experience supervising staff or volunteers in a support or care setting
