Reporting to the Senior Insurance Product Manager, the core function of the Senior Product Specialist is to play a central role in managing and delivering key components of a programme of work aimed at satisfying commercial commitments of the Insurance / Bancassurance portfolio.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the delivery of General Insurance and Bancassurance Business Requirements
• Manage new product/ campaigns launches form inception to go-to-market launch
• Manage day to day relationship with 3rd party providers ensuring contractual terms and agreed SLA are satisfied
• Support the Senior Product Manager in delivering the Insurance Performance Agenda within the agreed timeframe
• Collaboratively work with numerous functions in group centre to develop engaging, customer experience enhancing propositions
• Contribute to the overall strategy and performance by identifying market opportunities, key competitive activities/responses, and potential areas of development/improvement on an ongoing basis.
• Identify market threats and take appropriate action to protect base and revenue.
• Ensure on-going, effective cross-functional engagement to deliver agreed KPIs
• Effective Stakeholder Management skills will be crucial in succeeding in the role.

Requirements: 

Essentail:

• Minimum educated to bachelor degree level or other related third level qualification. Post graduate degree qualification preferred.
• Insurance / Bancassurance / Product industry experience
• Proven success in consistently achieving targets or working to deadlines
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver required outcome
• Commercial acumen with the ability to identify commercial opportunities and capitalise through implementing programmes of change
• Ability to display required level of tenacity to deliver business change

This is a permanent position based in PTSB's head office, St. Stephens Green, Dublin.( Hybrid option available within the Republic of Ireland )
