Position Summary

As Stryker continues to evolve its Plant Network, this role is required to deliver the integration of the Serf plant in Décines France into the JR manufacturing network. This role will focus on the delivery of a portfolio of projects in the Integration Program plan. These will primarily focus on EHS, Quality Integration, Drawing Remediation, Site Layout & capacity ramp. The Senior Program manager will collaborate closely with the Site leadership team and GQO Integration Lead to develop and deliver the Program charter and plan. They will also ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

What you will do

  • Management of significant Integration projects through PMO
  • Assume overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of the program. The Senior Program Manager is responsible to the project stakeholders for delivering a project’s objectives within scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Ensure a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the project plan, to align stakeholders and team members.
  • Lead the identification, technical assessment, monitoring, and closure of program risks throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Work closely with project sponsors and tech leads to drive successful project implementation.
  • Actively engage with all required functions to ensure best utilisation of floor space, minimized handling, and optimum process flow.
  • Participate in the selection and performance appraisal process of project resources.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
  • Responsible for identifying, monitoring, and appropriately managing project risk.
  • Actively work with the team in complex or difficult situations, removing obstacles, assigning appropriate resources, and interacting with other functions to assist with issue resolution and streamlining of work process.
  • Establishment of priorities, imparting a sense of urgency and importance to the team while following Project Management methodology in project execution
  • Provide regular progress update to all key stakeholders.
  • Drive the Current capacity ramp and be an input to the site capacity roadmap.
  • Be a central input into the future state manufacturing Strategy to achieve future growth targets.
  • Help minimize the impact of the plan to day-to-day business.
  • Develop a risk management plan for the program(s). Identify, analyse, and understand project risks, develop, and monitor a risk response plan.
  • Mentor others in risk management practices
  • Estimate, acquire and assign cross functional program resources and leverage resources across programs.
  • Develop stakeholder relationships and strategies for the effective management across a broad range of expectations and requirements.
  • Drive collaboration between the site and the wider Stryker network. 
  • Create and influence best practices for divisional communications management.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What you will need

  • B.S. degree in engineering or applicable technical field (mechanical or biomedical preferred); MS and/or MBA preferred Qualifications/Work Experience Required
  • Minimum of 9 years engineering / project experience (five of which are project management) in a regulated industry essential.
  • Have demonstrated ability to successfully plan, prioritize, multitask, and organize multi-disciplinary team(s) to successfully achieve project deliverables.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification preferred. 
  • Has applied knowledge of FDA & International medical device regulations.
  • Demonstrates leadership ability and ability to communicate with all levels of management and employees. Business experience demonstrated through business knowledge, leadership skills and process development capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills including risk management experience.
  • Experience in process validation preferred.
  • Experience with delivering results through 6sigma and lean methods is preferred.
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to speak French is preferred.
