The aim of the Corporate Development department is to optimise the efficient interaction of people, processes, and technology & build a pipeline of external Strategic Partners that support the Lidl brand and drive profit. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with previous experience managing a team within a related function to join our team.

The Senior PM - Corporate Development reports to the Corporate Development Director and is responsible for: Lidl's Project Management Office, the annual Corporate Strategy Process & Business Process Management for all departments.

What you'll do

  • Establish and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and tools to ensure consistent project delivery across the organisation.
  • Support Project Managers in tracking project progress, identifying risks, and providing regular updates to stakeholders to ensure projects are on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure that all projects align with the organisation's strategic goals and contribute to its overall success.
  • Offer training sessions and ongoing support to project managers and team members to enhance their project management skills and ensure adherence to PMO standards.
  • Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and promote knowledge sharing and best practices across project teams.
  • Perform regular audits and reviews of projects to ensure compliance with PMO standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the PMO and implement changes to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
  • Coordination of the national strategy process, SWOT analysis & responsible for overall delivery.
  • Implementation of the strategy process & strategic analysis in conjunction with the board and Lidl International.
  • Collaborate with senior management to track measures associated with the overall business Strategy.
  • Raise the standards with regards to the implementation of process documentation and the culture of process-orientated thinking in the organisation.

What you'll need

  • An analytical, logical and strategic thinker with strong business acumen who is effective at problem-solving.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Proven ability within the areas of project management, strategy & process.
  • Superb stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication and time management skills.
  • An excellent people manager with experience leading a team.
  • A full driving licence.
  • German language skills are advantageous.
