Senior Social Worker

Senior Social Worker (Bereavement Support Services)

· 0.5 WTE (17.5 hrs)

· Indefinite contract

· Board of Directors funded

· Based in Harold’s Cross

To provide bereavement support and counselling for children and adults whose family member or friend received care from OLH&CS.

Essential Requirements

Qualifications:

· National Qualification in Social Work (NQSW) or equivalent

· Registration as a Social Worker with CORU

· Further post graduate training in bereavement

· Full driver licence

Experience:

· Five years post qualification relevant experience in social work

· Experience in working the area of bereavement and loss

· Experience in Counselling work

· Experience in Group work

· Intermediate level IT skills

Desirable Requirements

Experience:

· Experience of working in hospice or palliative care setting

· Medical Social Work Experience

· Research Skills
