Job Summary
Responsibility for assisting the Head of Building Control and Licensing in the development and achievement of the departmental business plan; in managing and developing the Building Control team to achieve the departmental aims and objectives; contributing to the achievement of quality initiatives and the development and delivery of a customer focused service.

Hours of work
36 hours per week.
The post holder must be prepared to work outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Public and extra Statutory Holidays for which the appropriate payment will be made or time in lieu granted if relevant.

Salary
PO3, SCP 34-37, currently £45,091 - £48,226 per annum based on a 36 hour week (pro rata to hours worked).
